Start free with 150 requests/month. Scale to real-time WebSocket streaming across 160,000+ symbols from $30/month. All plans include 250+ global exchanges, 99.9% uptime SLA, and RapidAPI billing.
From individual builders to enterprise-scale applications. Start free, scale as you grow.
Note: Real-time availability depends on the exchange and upstream data provider. Some symbols or exchanges may be delayed or unavailable for live streaming; plan limits describe access quotas, not a guarantee that every feed is real-time.

Quote latency is determined by the listing exchange, not by whether you use REST,
WebSocket, or SSE. The response from /api/quote includes
update_mode so you can detect the latency for each symbol.
"update_mode": "streaming" Real-time data with a small delay from API forwarding.
"update_mode": "delayed_streaming_900" 15-minute delay. The 900 value represents 900 seconds.
All symbols on the same exchange share the same latency behavior.
Hong Kong stocks such as HKEX:700 and HKEX:323
are delayed by 15 minutes. Real-time HKEX data is not currently available.
/api/quote/batch uses the same exchange-based latency rules as
single-symbol quotes. Batch quote requests support up to 10 symbols per request;
use concurrent requests or the SSE endpoint when you need more symbols in one call.
The latency rules are identical across REST, WebSocket, and SSE. Changing the delivery method does not change whether an exchange is real-time or delayed.

The TradingView Data API starts at $0/month for the Basic plan (150 requests/month), $10/month for Pro (30,000 requests), $30/month for Ultra (100,000 requests + WebSocket/SSE), and $80/month for Mega (2,500,000 requests + unlimited real-time streaming). All paid plans include 99.9% uptime SLA and email support. Billing is handled through RapidAPI.
Yes. The Basic plan is permanently free and includes 150 REST requests per month, 50 real-time quote calls, and access to all 250+ exchanges and 160,000+ symbols. It is designed for evaluation, personal projects, and proof-of-concept work. No credit card is required to start.
REST request quotas are hard limits on every plan — additional requests return HTTP 429 until the quota resets on your next billing cycle. Ultra and Mega plans allow overage on real-time quote calls at $0.01 per extra call. Data transfer over 10,240 MB/month is billed at $0.001/MB on all plans.
WebSocket and SSE streaming are available on Ultra ($30/mo, 6 hours/day) and Mega ($80/mo, 24 hours/day). The Basic plan includes a 30-minute WebSocket/SSE trial window for testing. The Pro plan is REST-only — pick Ultra or Mega if you need real-time push.
Quote latency depends on the exchange, not the plan or endpoint. Check the update_mode field returned by /api/quote: "streaming" means real-time with a small API forwarding delay, while "delayed_streaming_900" means a 15-minute delay. All symbols on the same exchange share the same latency. For example, HKEX symbols such as HKEX:700 and HKEX:323 are delayed by 15 minutes, and real-time HKEX data is not currently available. REST, WebSocket, and SSE follow the same latency rules.
MCP (Model Context Protocol) tokens are available on Basic (30-minute tokens for testing), Ultra (1-day tokens), and Mega (30-day tokens). The Pro plan does not include MCP access. Use Ultra or Mega if you plan to integrate the API into Claude Desktop, Cursor, or other MCP clients for production use.
Yes. All plans are month-to-month with no long-term commitment. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime from your RapidAPI dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing; downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
RapidAPI handles all billing and does not currently expose annual discounts on the standard listing. If Mega is not enough, use Contact Provider on RapidAPI and describe your required usage. We can open a larger custom plan for high-volume, enterprise, or custom SLA needs.
Yes, for most use cases. At $10/month for 30,000 requests and $30/month for 100,000 requests plus WebSocket streaming, TradingView Data API undercuts Polygon.io ($29/mo basic), Alpha Vantage ($49.99/mo), and Twelve Data ($29/mo + separate charge for WebSocket). Coverage is also broader — 250+ exchanges and 160,000+ symbols vs. typical 10,000-50,000 on competitors.
No credit card for the Basic plan. Paid plans billed monthly through RapidAPI — cancel anytime.
